Product Overview
The Blagdon Liberty Solar 500 Pond Pump and LED Light offers an innovative, solar-powered solution for creating beautiful and sustainable water features in your garden or pond. Designed to be eco-friendly and cost-effective, this pump and light system is perfect for those who want a hassle-free way to enhance their outdoor space without relying on mains electricity.
The Liberty Solar 500 boasts an impressive maximum pumping height of 1.7 meters (5’7”) and maximum flow rate of 482 litres per hour (106 gallons per hour), making it ideal for a wide range of water features, ponds, and decorative displays. Whether you want to create a serene pond fountain or a bold feature in a self-contained setup, this versatile system delivers exceptional performance, powered by the sun.
What sets this system apart is its flexibility. The pump can be installed in three different ways: sitting on the pond or feature floor, floating in the pond or feature, or placed in a water feature sump for pump-only use. This flexibility allows you to choose the perfect setup for your space and design preferences. Additionally, the system includes two fountain styles (Daisy Jet and Bell Jet) with fittings and extensions, giving you more creative control over your water feature.
The low-maintenance design of the Liberty Solar 500 features a bio-mechanical pre-filter system, which includes flow control, pre-filter foam, and bio media, ensuring cleaner water with less effort.
The 10 watt solar panel and 5-hour lithium-ion battery backup ensures smooth operation, even in less-than-ideal weather conditions.
Choose from three intelligent operating control options: Continuous On, Repeat Daily Timer, and On Demand. Whether you’re looking to reduce energy costs, create a unique garden feature, or enjoy a low-maintenance water display.
To achieve the best performance, position the solar panel facing due south in a location that receives full midday sun and is free from shade. This ensures optimal charging and allows the pump to run efficiently. With the panel capturing maximum sunlight, the water feature itself can be placed wherever you choose. Optional extension cables are available to give added flexibility when positioning the panel for the best sun exposure.
